Workshop Overview: "Age of Accountability: Puberty Workshop for Boys"

Join us for an insightful and engaging workshop tailored specifically for boys entering the age of accountability. As Ramadan approaches, it's the perfect time to delve into the physical and emotional changes that accompany puberty, while also exploring the religious obligations that come with reaching this significant stage in life.

This workshop will be faciliated by Faz Rana, an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching expertise. Faz brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to boys' wellbeing and education.

Formerly the Head of Department for Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education (PDHPE), Faz has dedicated his career to helping students navigate the challenges of adolescence with confidence and resilience. His leadership in fostering holistic development and his passion for supporting boys' well-being make him the perfect facilitator for this workshop.

Currently serving as the Head of Boys' Wellbeing and teaching PDH to year 12 students, Faz is well-equipped to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of puberty with sensitivity and expertise. His engaging teaching style and genuine care for each participant ensure that every boy will benefit from this workshop.

What to Expect:

  1. Understanding Puberty: Our workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the physical changes boys experience during puberty, including growth spurts, voice changes, and hormonal fluctuations. We'll create a supportive environment where boys can ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of their bodies.

  2. Emotional Well-being: Puberty can be a time of intense emotions and self-discovery. Through interactive discussions and activities, we'll explore strategies for managing stress, building resilience, and nurturing positive mental health habits.

  3. Religious Responsibilities: As boys transition into adulthood, they'll learn about their religious obligations, including the importance of prayer, fasting, performing ghusl, and other essential practices in Islam.

  4. Preparing for Ramadan: With Ramadan just around the corner, this workshop offers a timely opportunity for boys to prepare themselves spiritually and mentally for the holy month. They'll gain valuable insights into the significance of fasting, prayer, and self-reflection during Ramadan, empowering them to approach this sacred time with confidence and devotion.

We look forward to an engaging and empowering workshop experience for all participants.
