About the workshop (7-13 year olds)

In Islam, gratitude holds significant importance and is considered a fundamental aspect of a believer's spiritual life. The concept of gratitude, known as "shukr" in Arabic, is emphasised throughout the Qur'an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). By expressing gratitude, Muslims strive to develop a deep appreciation for Allah's blessings and live a life filled with thankfulness and humility. Join us for an inspiring workshop designed specifically for girls ages 7-13. In this engaging session, we will delve into the power of gratitude and equip your daughters with valuable life skills that will positively shape their future.

Gratitude is an essential ingredient for personal growth and happiness. Research has shown that cultivating gratitude leads to improved well-being, increased resilience, and stronger relationships. By instilling a grateful mindset at a young age, we empower girls to navigate life's challenges with grace and optimism.

During this interactive session, I will guide your daughters through various activities, discussions, and exercises that will ignite their gratitude journey. Through thought-provoking exercises, they will learn to appreciate the present moment, discover hidden blessings, and express gratitude towards themselves and others.

As a special bonus, each attendee will receive a complimentary gratitude journal valued at $33. This beautifully designed journal will serve as a personal sanctuary for your daughters to capture their daily reflections, express gratitude, and embrace positivity.

Here's what your daughter will gain from this workshop (all points are covered from an Islamic perspective):
