Oz Tag Gala Day
How to register

 

Here's a brief overview of the registration process and what to expect next:

Step 1: Team Creation

You, as a parent or coach, have registered your child.
Ensure you fill your team to reach the players needed.


Step 2: Inviting Team Members

Share the registration code with your child's friends, family, or teammates who fall within the same age category.
They can click on join team and add their child's details and make the registration payment of $50.


Age Division Breakdown:

  • Under 10s: Participants should have turned 10 or be under 10 (e.g., 8, 9 years old). 6 players on the field, max 4 subs (half field)

  • Under 12s: Eligible for those who are 12 years old or under 12 (e.g., 11 years old). 8 players on the field (max 4 subs)

  • Under 14s: For children who have turned 14 or are under 14 (e.g., 13 years old). 8 players on the field (max 4 subs)

  • Under 16s: Participants should have turned 16 or be under 16 (e.g.17 years old).8 players on the field (max 4 subs)

  • Under 18s: Participants should have turned 18 or be under 18 (e.g.17 years old).8 players on the field (max 4 subs)

Gala Day Details:

  • There will be six teams in each age division.

  • Each team will play a maximum of five games, followed by a final match for the teams that finish 1st and 2nd.

  • The winning team will receive a prize of $300 and a trophy for each player.

  • We will follow official Oztag rules, using official-sized balls for the junior divisions.

  • Oztag belts will be provided for those who do not have Oztag shorts.

  • Official oztag rules ( handbook can be found online) just search in google or email us

  • It is essential that each player or team is supervised by a parent or coach, as there will be no on-site supervision provided during the event, as it is a competitive competition.

  • It is the duty of the parent/coach to ensure teams arrive on time for game time

  • All matches are played on one field all day for each division, avoiding confusion and allowing teams to watch others teams in their divisions and have adequate rest time

  • Under 10s play 16min games with 8minute halves (2-minute halftime)

  • Under 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s play 20 minute games (2-minute halftime)
